Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tradl("Tradl", "we", "us") uses personal information collected through this website. We are the data controller for that information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our form we collect:
- your name, business name, trade and area or postcode;
- your phone number and email address;
- whether you have a website, what you're interested in, and anything you write in the message box;
- how you found us, if the link you used contained campaign tags (for example from a Facebook ad);
- a one-way scrambled ("hashed") version of your IP address, used only to stop spam. We can't turn it back into your IP address.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo or call. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To protect the form from spam and abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our systems secure.
We will never sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website, under contracts that protect your data:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
- Supabase: the secure database where enquiries are stored.
- Resend: sends us an email notification when you submit the form.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as you're a customer and as required for our accounts afterwards. If you don't, we delete your enquiry within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@tradl.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies and local storage
This website doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies. It stores one small setting in your browser to remember that you've seen our cookie notice. This is strictly necessary for that feature and contains no personal information.
Our clients' customers
When we build a website and dashboard for a trade business, enquiries sent through that business's website belong to that business. They are the controller and we process that data on their behalf. Their own privacy policy covers it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
